Rankings of tool makers by the task pages they keep

Two rankings count the dedicated task pages that 24 AI video tool makers keep on their own sites: one for planning shots and cast, one for a series with a steady cast. Dreamina, Pippit, SceneMixer and Vidu sit in the top three of both. Read 2026-09-25. As of 2026-09-25.

Each ranking takes a few of the directory's tasks, counts for every maker how many of them it keeps a page for, and sorts by that count. The counts come from the same readings that fill the task pages and the maker sheets, with the page heading quoted and the day it was read.

Both tables list only the makers that keep at least one of the counted pages. Each row links the maker's own site and the task pages that earned its points, so any count can be checked against the headings the maker itself published.

A count of pages is a count of what a maker publishes. It does not say how well a tool does the job, and a suite that files every job under a page of its own will outscore one that does not. Each ranking page says what it counts, how ties fall and what the order leaves out.

  • Planning shots and cast — Five planning tasks, from storyboards to camera moves, ranked by how many each maker keeps a page for.
  • Series with a steady cast — Episodes, a consistent character and character design: three task pages that a recurring cast needs, counted per maker.

Every row is a maker whose own site was read; the method page explains what counts as a task page, and the task groups hold the wider lists these two draw on.
